Matt Edwards has dedicated his life to serving his community and country. Immediately after high school, he fulfilled his lifelong aspiration of protecting the nation by joining the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he completed two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he honed his leadership skills and deepened his unwavering commitment to duty and country.

Following his military career, Matt continued to contribute to national defense as a defense contractor with L3 Communications. In this role, he served as a communications instructor for the United States Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC).

Matt later pursued higher education, earning a degree from Empire College. Transitioning into law enforcement, he spent a decade as a police officer and deputy sheriff, working tirelessly to safeguard his community and uphold the law.

Today, Matt continues his commitment to service as a financial advisor, helping individuals and families navigate retirement planning, investment strategies, debt management, and wealth protection. Drawing on his diverse background and disciplined approach, he empowers individuals and families to secure their financial futures with confidence and clarity. Matt Edwards holds Series 6, 63, 65 with JW Cole, and Life Licenses.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Matt is a devoted husband and father of three—a son and two daughters. He prioritizes family above all, actively supporting his children's education and extracurricular activities. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and refining his family’s expert marksmanship at the shooting range. Deeply connected to his community, he also supports the Mica Mountain High School/Vail Academy Wrestling program, where his children are athletes and his spouse coaches both male and female wrestlers. Whether in his professional or personal life, Matt remains steadfast in his commitment to making a meaningful impact and lending a helping hand wherever he is needed.
